Repeat Prescriptions

You can order your repeat prescriptions in the following ways:

• Online
• Via reception – Hand in the back of your prescription with your request or complete a slip in reception

Please allow 2 working days for this to be prepared, remembering weekends and bank holidays may take longer.

We do not take prescription requests over the telephone. 

Prescription Medicines Order Line

The NHS Prescription Medicines Order Line service is the easy way for you to order
your repeat prescription.

Unused prescription medicines cost the NHS in Derbyshire over £6 million every year. Only ordering what you need, when you need it, will save the NHS money to spend on other important services.

Call 0115 855 0260, 09:00-16:00, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays)

Electronic Prescription Service

If you collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP you will not have to visit your GP practice to pick up your paper prescription. Instead, your GP will send it electronically to the place you choose, saving you time.
